Simple DIY Iced Tea Boba Recipes

We're midway through summer and what's a better way to beat the heat than with a refreshing glass of DIY iced tea? But we're not talking about your ordinary, sweetened iced tea; we're popping into the tasty world of boba tea - a deliciously creamy and chewy twist on traditional iced tea using INA Botanicals & Tea's handcrafted loose leaf blends.

Did you know? Bubble tea, better known today as boba tea, originated in Taiwan in the 1980's. Though its true origins have continued to be debated.

First up, we have a classic Asian Taro Boba Tea. This vibrant purple drink not only looks fun but also offers a delightful blend of earthy taro flavor, combined with the creamy goodness of oat milk. To add an extra layer of sweetness and excitement, we've thrown in some black sugar tapioca pearls, which bring that unmistakable boba texture to each sip. You can also adjust the sweetness by adding a touch of honey, date syrup, or agave.
